story:

Can you hear my voice?

I am still here.
I'm still standing in the ruins of a once thriving city, now without a single light in sight.

Can you hear me?
Does my voice reach you?

In the dull sky, the largest corridor I've ever seen stretches for a long, long time before disappearing into the distance.
The ground is constantly shaking and moving with a stench that is slowly, slowly engulfing everything on the ground.

Where does the corridor lead to?
Somewhere far away, to a land of twilight where no one knows.
Is it the world of yesterday?
Or is it today, when there is nothing?

There is nothing to see beyond. The visible world has disappeared into the darkness.

And yet, I am still here.
I'm still here.

Can you hear my voice?

Maybe I'm looking at you.
I see your pale face, your bony arms, your lips dripping with blood.
I can feel SOMETHING of you faintly.
But it's really nothing, and I may just be loving the hallucination I see behind my eyelids.

Still, the dream remains.
Even if it is a nightmare.

So.
Can you hear my voice?

I'm still here.

My personal favorite of the Lovecraft series. This piece feels so calm, eerie, and mysterious. The slight plucking of strings is off set by the ritual drums and consistent reverb. Amazing combination! theeverwanderer
